The OLV Home School Association (HSA) is a dynamic and vibrant organization that plays a crucial role in the life of our school. There are many ways for you to get involved today!

Homeroom Parents
A homeroom parent for each grade is needed, and a sign up sheet will be available at “Back to School Night.” Please consider helping with this.
Homeroom Parent Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with our HSA and attend monthly meetings.

• Assist the principal and HSA with school activities and supportive efforts.

• Support HSA events and help recruit volunteers.

• Share ideas, interests, and suggestions that may benefit our school community.

• Serve as an ambassador for classroom families by welcoming new and returning parents through phone calls or emails to strengthen our sense of community.

• Partner with the classroom teacher, respecting classroom procedures and policies.

• Help the teacher establish a classroom phone tree.

• Work with the teacher to plan classroom events and coordinate volunteers to provide supplies or party items—ensuring contributions are divided so each family provides only a small amount.
