Family. Faith. future.

When you select OLV Elementary as your school of choice, you are ensuring your student’s first educational experience is not limited to academics. Our philosophy is based on the fact that every child is not just a student ... but a person.  Having been serving young people for more than 120 years, we know that an OLV education will inspire your son or daughter to become someone who loves and serves others!

Family

Our parents will tell you that the warmth and closeness of students, staff and teachers is one of the school's best qualities.

Small class sizes mean more individualized instruction, more attention from teachers and closer bonds with peers -- all critical components of not only a high-quality education but happy, more well-adjusted young people. Come join OLV's "forever family" today!

FAITH

Anyone connected to Catholic schools know they are special for many reasons. The first among them is that they provide a rich environment of Christ-centered values and lessons and combine that with a rigorous and satisfying learning experience.

OLV stands out among them because, in addition to that faith-centered approach, our students are given opportunities to make their sacraments, go on service trips, and attend retreats.

In addition, students attend Mass once a week at the wondrous OLV National Shrine & Basilica and receive the sacrament of Reconciliation four times a year.

All of these experiences give our students the opportunity to encounter Jesus in a real and personal way.

Future

OLV is a licensed STREAM institute that has a forward-thinking curriculum that focuses on the areas of Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics.

Our new, state-of-the-art Technology Lab is a vibrant place, filled with laptops and tablets, room for individual and group work, robotics stations, VR headsets and even two new 3-D printers. It's every budding scientist or engineer's dream!

After nine years of rigorous academics, numerous sports teams and clubs, field trips, and community service, our 8th graders and their families are ready to choose a high school. The great news?  Our graduates flourish in the area’s most competitive college-prep schools because of the academic and life skills they received here at OLV.
